For the first time since their Champions Trophy showdown, India and Pakistan will lock horns in the Asia Cup 2025. The tournament is being played in the T20 format. Hence, the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma won't be part of the fixture. Both Indian batsmen have enjoyed huge success against the Men in Green in ICC events. Virat is the only batsman to score more than 400 (433) runs against Pakistan in ICC ODI events. With 370 runs, Rohit sits in the second position.

Virat has delivered for India on many occasions. During the 2025 Champions Trophy game, Virat created history and etched his name in the record books. India defeated Pakistan in the league stage.

    When Virat Kohli created history

Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 100 off 111 balls as India chased down the target of 242 against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy. The former India captain became the first batsman in the world to score a century against Pakistan World Cup, Champions Trophy and Asia Cup.

Virat kicked off his 2015 ODI WC campaign with a ton against Pakistan. He scored his first Asia Cup century against Pakistan in 2012. Thirteen years later, Virat slammed his first CT century against them.

Virat has never scored a T20I century against Pakistan. His only T20I ton came against Afghanistan during the 2022 Asia Cup. Virat retired from the T20I format after winning the 2024 World Cup under Rohit's captaincy.
